Kirstin Shatzer
Since 2004, Kirstin has been involved in the pageantry arts as a performer, educator, and designer. Her love for the activity began at Mechanicsburg High School and continued as a performer with the Glassmen Drum & Bugle Corps, Matrix Performing Arts, and ONYX. Kirstin has been an educator and designer for groups in the Midwest and East Coast, including The Cadets, Artistry In Blue, Cap City Percussion, Norton High School, O’Fallon Township, Spirit of Atlanta, and more.
Currently, she is the color guard director and head designer for Mechanicsburg High School. Her experience in multiple realms of the marching arts gives her a fresh and unique perspective on design and collaboration.
Kirstin has a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University in educational leadership and design and currently lives in Mechanicsburg, Pa. When she is not involved in pageantry, she enjoys traveling, art history, trying new restaurants, and running with her dad.
